Leccinum engelianum
Foraging: Never eat a wild mushroom on a photo or an app’s word. Many deadly species look like edible ones.
About
Leccinum engelianum is a rare European bolete in the family Boletaceae. It was described in 2007 by the Austrian mycologist Wolfgang Klofac from a collection made near Kassel, Germany, and appears to form a symbiotic (mycorrhizal) partnership with European beech.
