The story
When European settlers encountered Vitis labrusca in eastern North America, they noticed its flavors were vastly different from their familiar European wines. They coined the term "foxy" as a catchall descriptor for these distinct American wine flavors. Depending on how the wine is crafted, these grapes can impart a musky flavor, or delight the palate with notes of strawberry, raspberry, and cotton candy.

How to use it
